Cool, calm, and calculating is the only way to describe the Stylebender’s performance. Every outing he shows that he’s way ahead of his division.
Patience and precision was Izzy’s weapon the whole bout. The Reaper had a better outing than before and changed the look of the fight after the first round. But after every round it seemed Izzy gathered data and properly adjusted like an android.
Kicks came quick and out of nowhere, they struck a different target every shoot leading to every movement the Stylebender made a threat. Fakes and faints came constantly causing several bites from Whittaker.
Rob Whittaker had success with takedown but they became less effective with every attempt. After his attempt at becoming double champion Izzy became more active in grappling situations instead of just excepting them.
The combination of his continued advancement between fights and the experiences from the previous one lead him to take the majority decision victory.
After the fight he confirmed the next fight we all expected with the also victorious Cannonier. But he surprised many with the declaration of June setting his return in four months. If this card gave us example of what to expect from both we can predict a fight of the night candidate.
